HMRC do not ‘stamp’ umbrella companies as ‘fully HMRC compliant.’

Despite many umbrella companies claims to the contrary, HMRC do not 'rubber stamp' or certify that an umbrella company is 'fully HMRC compliant'

No business in the UK is 'fully HMRC compliant' no matter what industry they're in, but for all of us there will always be regulations and legislation that need to be adhered to.

True umbrella companies employ your candidates and pay them via PAYE, and therefore abide by UK tax law and employment legislation.

Recruitment businesses should carry out due diligence, whether they're already outsourcing the risk of employment to an umbrella company or looking to do so, and put their trust in a service provider who knows its obligations and can show evidence of having been independently assessed against those obligations.

Don't be fooled by claims of HMRC approval as it simply doesn't exist.
