Umbrella company users who are finishing work on an IT project must ensure that they handle their departure carefully, an expert has claimed.
Cojak, writing for ContractorUK, has highlighted the fact that this is an area where there is a lot of uncertainty and contractors are often unsure how best to handle the etiquette of leaving.
"How do they handover? Will they be roped into knowledge-transfer? Do they arrange a few drinks to say farewell, or do they quietly pack up their coffee mug and disappear into the sunset?" he asked.
