Umbrella company contractors 'may not just be affected by debt'

Company umbrella contractors who are suffering from debt problems may also be seeing their mental health being affected for the worse too.
This is according to Una Farrell, spokeswoman for the Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS), who noted that many people who visits her firm about debt is often showing signs of emotional distress.
She pointed out that this link has always been there, but is becoming more prominent as the number of people seeking tips about debt problems has increased.
As a result, Ms Farrell advised that now is an ideal time to try to do something about this problem, with the CCCS setting up their own research to get more insight into this link, which affects many people with umbrella companies.
The expert explained: "It needed to be addressed. We have created a tool that will help identify and diagnose people and then refer them on to the help they need."
Recently, MyVoucherCodes.co.uk noted that 86 per cent of Brits owe money in some way, be it by a credit card, overdraft or loan.
