More female contractors with umbrella companies could be seen

There could be more female contractors with umbrella companies in the future as IT skills will always be attractive to employers, according to an expert.
Maggie Berry, managing director of womenintechnology.co.uk, said that as technology develops, the demand for workers with these skills is only going to grow.
"Students who invest in developing their IT skills are really going to stand out against the competition and have the best chance of launching a successful career in what is a rapidly growing and exciting industry," she stated.
Ms Berry went on to say that with the economy recovering in 2011, there is more optimism among employers, which could lead to an increase in IT jobs.
"Women with good IT experience and qualifications will have no problem securing interviews," she went on to say.
Recently, Nathan Marke, chief technology officer at 2e2, said that cloud computing was going to become a top IT priority in the coming years.
