How umbrella company contractors could reduce stress in 2011
Posted by John Crawley
Anyone with an umbrella company who is feeling the strain heading into the new year has been advised on how they could deal with the problem.
With the Stoke Association recently finding that 15 per cent of people believe they are extremely stressed as 2011 begins, Ann McCracken, chair of the International Stress Management Association UK, gave her recommendations on how people could remain calm.
She explained that people suffering from this issue, including company umbrella contractors, need to "clarify their values" and decide what the most important things to them are.
This can be done by reducing the amount of spending in a month by doing some things differently, though Ms McCracken noted that some fun activities still need to be included.
She added: "The best way to alleviate stress is to take control back into your life and if your lifestyle feels threatened - review your lifestyle."
The expert went on to advise that, for those who like to wine and dine in restaurants, looking at ways to bring that lifestyle into a home could save the pennies, while also keeping up the enjoyment factor.
