Contractors can help with UK economic recovery
Smaller businesses and contractors using umbrella companies will be vital to the UK's economic recovery, according to one expert.
Emyr Williams, director of Bytestart.co.uk, said that the pro-business coalition government will help contractors using umbrella companies and small business owners to get ahead and in turn support the economic recovery.
"Early indications are that the coalition government is far more pro-business than the previous, so that gives business owners confidence. Business owners know that there may be a little more pain ahead but I think that confidence will be maintained," he stated.
The expert added that contractors and small businesses are extremely important to the UK economy and help to drive it forward.
By helping to provide employment, the smaller UK enterprises help to keep money circulating in the economy and also "stoke the engine of the economic recovery", according to Mr Williams.
